Fall Leaves
It’s fall in New England, and the yellow, orange, and red leaves shine, giving the region unique beauty.
If we think we don’t shine as brightly as others, we can lose confidence in ourselves. The whole fall forest scene wouldn’t exist, though, without the dark tree trunks, gray rocks, and brown leaves on the forest floor. All are necessary for the beauty of the scene to exist.
The love of a friend’s mother gave him the confidence and inner strength that helped him become a business executive, happily married, and a wonderful father. His mother, on the other hand, suffered mentally, thinking she hadn’t done enough with her life.
Did you ever experience a time when you realized that you were enough, that you didn’t have to shine with a light expected by others?
